Need some help

I'm a newbie looking for help. Recently beat first level (normal) ... was playing today with my character and some wise guy dropped a Godmode small charm with no description of what it did.I picked it up and it basically froze my entire game. And to make it worse, I can't drop the charm, so my game's frozen and if I uninstall, I'm back to square one. Any ideas how I can lose the killer charm without losing my progress? - Thx - Abby

KAO'd asked if I was on open - answer is yes. One other question: If I re-design my character, re-build him, enter the level, destroy the previous character (delete him) will that help get rid of or deactivtae this Godmode charm thing, so that I can at least dump it?

If you remake the character, and not access the other one (corrupted one), then you're fine. If it still happens, then you need to reinstall. And why are you on open, anyhow?!

try to hit one of those sights that makes you drop all your gear, maybe, if you have a trusted freind, that person can grab all your gear and then you can delete the character with the bugged charm. It's worth a shot at least.

u could download an editor and delete the sc from your inventory.

Actually if the hack is any good it would infect all the gear and the charms too. I would just start over, it might also have wurm attached with a time code, to open if he puts any other charms, gear on. Provided he can get rid of it.

Too many ways to hack anymore lol...if you have to re-install it in the end play on BNet... open sucks.

Considering you just started you probably didn't have any Godly items... correct me if I'm wrong though.
