My professions on my shaman are skinning/herbalism. So far I've gathered and saved enough herbs to grind alch all the way to 300 when I decide to drop skinning. I'm going to be hitting outlands really soon though so I'm wondering whether it would be more profitable to keep skinning for awhile. Would I make more money selling leather that I gather in outlands or is it possible to make money with 300 alch?

Also at 375 alch what's the best way to make money? Any particular potions or transmutes that are really popular?

If you are going after gold, then keep skinning and herbalism. Since they're gathering professions, the only thing you can make out of it is gold.

As for alchemy, there will be some changes in the next patch, so I can't answer your question yet.

Alchemist pretty much only make money off Primal transmutes. Flaskers are kinda moot right now, but supposivly that's all changing bigtime in the next patch.
