Need help with ip change

k i've recently beeen getting r/d trying to find right ip.
i heard u can change ur ip or something to get rid of the r/d
plz tell me more about this and instruct me on how to do it

one way is to change your IP (WAN) to dynamic instead of static if you use a router.

i use wireless connection
and i think i use linksys router, does that make any changes?
