this is not a "i forgot my project plz help me" this is a "my friend hijacked my work and now im ****ed"
i woke up today and realized my friend never gave me my project back (he was using it as a guide to finish his) weve been working on poetry in english over the past 6weeks or so, and throughout that time we have had to write our own poems. well they were due today, and i, realizing my friend jacked mine (and is currently outa town due to a funeral) i have to recreate all my shit. so im askin for the help of the tallented here at bf.
anyways heres the guidelines:
1. Romantic Poem
-A. A poem of 30-40 lines or three poems each 10-15 lines long
-B. Creative Title
-C. Each poem must include 3 elements of romantic poetry (Love of nature, emotion over logic, presence of the supernatural, innocence, individuality, spontaneity). On the back of each poem there must be an explination of the three romantic elements youve included.
-D. Illustrate elaborately.
2. Fear Imitation
-A. A poem of 14 lines minimum explaining something you fear you won't be able to accomplish before you die.
-B. Creative Title
-C. Maintain a specific rhyme scheme
-D. Illustrate elaborately
3. Apostrophe Imitation
-A. A poem of 15 lines minimum in which you address a non-living or non-human subject
-B. Creative Title
-C. Illustrate elaborately.
4. Purpose of Life Poem
-A. A poem in which you question the purpose of life. Questions to consider- but not necessary to answer- could include: is life enjoyable? is it sorrowful? is god around us? has god left us?
-B. Creative Title
-C. No other restrictions
5. Poem from the grave
-A. Write your own poem of exactly 4 quatrains from the grave in which you answer one of the following questions: What problems do you have with humanity/society -OR- Who do you hope is upset by your death? What do you hope they sy about you? What would you like to say to them?
-B. Creative Title
-C. Elaborately Illustrated.
6. Individual Poem #1
-A. Write a poem about anything in any way that you want
-B. Crative Title
7. Individual Poem #2
-A. Write a poem about anything in any way that youw ant
-B. Crative Title
-C. Elaborately Illustrated.
NOTE: "romantic poetry" by that it means "Romanticism" im sure alot of u know what it is, but for those who dont, its like making a big deal outa something thats pointless and small,
Ex: "Ohh what a daring task on the rise of the autumn sun i must mend my whool and partake in taking it up, but sorrowful i am when i must brign them down the release the toxins within" ie: "gotta put the damn underwear on just to take them off when i need to shit"
interesting example eh? i just made it so be proud of me
obviously i can/will do the illustrations myself. ima be working on these all day probably so if anyoen wants to hel pyou can IM me on aim via Dragnskull or at msn via Dragnskull@hotmail.com
