resuming
it's been like 5 days i'm doing keeper + archers
to + beastmaster + mass AoWind stuff
*dotts, faeries, hippos, hipporiders...
the keeper with entangle/treants and some mana pots and BM with bear and ( hawks if he going ground, quillbeasts if air) will tank some.. it was GG like 80% of the times... my point is:
*not going huntresses, as gruntapult will OWN you; (in counterpart hunts are better for rushing)
*archers FF an entangled grunt early on will most likely kill it, just make wise use of wisps on FS wolfs, and burrows do poor dmg to archers;
*the BM + bears + treants provide that extra tanking needed for elves; ( a few hunts if you REALLY need more tanking)
*AND - Faerie fire is damn powerful, cyclone owns heavy melee, dotts own demolishers hard ( yes, you heard that... just fly them behind the orc army, get to melee range with the demolisher, focus fire and fly again - they will DIe cuz it's magic dmg on heavy armor, and they cannot aim you because you are too close)
* faeries eat orc casters, cannot get chain lightned... and are tier 2 flying attackers ( weak, but they are)
* if you can get to surprise the orc with mass hippos, even if he has some raiders, it might not be enought for him, as you can entangle FF those ones with some hit and run.
*if the game gets late, you already have the AoWinds and can easily change to chippos, the most hated NE strat x ORC ^^ )
i said 80% because surely i lost some games... the most expressive game i lost was for some crazed beyotch who massed hh's with TINKER and spirit walkers, a rare strat i could do shit against his mass piercing stuff and stuns with a beastmaster, i should have gotten dark ranger for silence :usad
