NE x ORC ,and the mass AoWind stuff

hmmmm
resuming
it's been like 5 days i'm doing keeper + archers
to + beastmaster + mass AoWind stuff
*dotts, faeries, hippos, hipporiders...
the keeper with entangle/treants and some mana pots and BM with bear and ( hawks if he going ground, quillbeasts if air) will tank some.. it was GG like 80% of the times... my point is:

*not going huntresses, as gruntapult will OWN you; (in counterpart hunts are better for rushing)
*archers FF an entangled grunt early on will most likely kill it, just make wise use of wisps on FS wolfs, and burrows do poor dmg to archers;
*the BM + bears + treants provide that extra tanking needed for elves; ( a few hunts if you REALLY need more tanking)
*AND - Faerie fire is damn powerful, cyclone owns heavy melee, dotts own demolishers hard ( yes, you heard that... just fly them behind the orc army, get to melee range with the demolisher, focus fire and fly again - they will DIe cuz it's magic dmg on heavy armor, and they cannot aim you because you are too close)
* faeries eat orc casters, cannot get chain lightned... and are tier 2 flying attackers ( weak, but they are)
* if you can get to surprise the orc with mass hippos, even if he has some raiders, it might not be enought for him, as you can entangle FF those ones with some hit and run.
*if the game gets late, you already have the AoWinds and can easily change to chippos, the most hated NE strat x ORC ^^ )

i said 80% because surely i lost some games... the most expressive game i lost was for some crazed beyotch who massed hh's with TINKER and spirit walkers, a rare strat o_O i could do shit against his mass piercing stuff and stuns with a beastmaster, i should have gotten dark ranger for silence :usad

what do you think about it...

me personally i dont play elf that often lol even though they are the race i play when i dont do random
but anyway i looked at your strat and vs orc it seems like it would do ok if they went meele most ranged units might cuase a little problem.

the keeper is underrated as he has a great ulti and great skills i mean you can just use all your ranged unit while the treants fight up fount and heal all your troops with tranquility plus thorns for the mass meele units that orc uses. So right there is one plus of the strat.

Also, the beastmaster can become a force to be reconed with all his summons and his ulti if used properly could eat the orc frount line.
if i were going for a late game hero as support i would ither go for the Dark ranger for the silence or if the combat is heavy and your winning so fast exp i would also add ither the alchemist so you have a major meele tank plus tansmute or a naga sea witch for the tornado slow plus dmg. Hell i might even take a Panda just for kicks and grins a Demon Hunter might be a good third hero but i you would want him to get his ulti befor going into the mass carnage.

looks like a good strat it would take some time to get it down but with that time it like you said would work a lot of the time as there are almost no idications you are going mass air even if they do see you with the keeper what would they be thinking you going ground cause of thorns so this strat would need some little distraction to keep them from getting onto your strat and forming a mass HH army to counter your air

I used to do that Luna, and yoiu get heavily owned by raiders and trolls and... k

but really, it doesnt work very well, I'd just go hunts + archers later since orcs go air when they see mass hunts.

Keeper..Underrated? Since when?

since 90% of NE's go Demon hunter 1st.
he's preferred as a 2nd hero, and that's what he's mainly mean to be.
but against orc, he's as powerful of even more powerful then DH... IMO

and NtRiK... yes, raiders + hh's are the shit against it, but then it's time to change strategy, going pitlord or panda for 2nd hero... for the aoe's (or even both of them, howl + drunken = gg trolls)

dischant = :(, most orcs do make shamens and one or two of those thingys casting dischant, they dont just mass raiders and trolls,

It will be hard, but once you surprise them with this, you will be well on your way to victory, just dont forget to peon harass to keep him making peons eh? :)

heh, sure... harass is a must on this strat... but i prefer not to attack peons... i try to keep creepjacking... 1 grunt loss early game = :usad
the secret is the mass wisps!! :p
i bet 50 wisps would kill a farseer alone, they would start gaining levels from dispelling wolves and kill FS as they did to archimonde (omg how drunk am i?)
as for the spirit walkers...a entangle lvl 2 should kill them, because they take 66% more from spells... stupid dispelling immortal gays =(
JUST... MASS WISPS! :)

I proved that once using nothing but Grunts, Raiders, docs, hh, and 2 Catapults to destroy a whole Night elf melee force (all melee: Dotc master, hunts, mg).

Time taken to build Sentinel combination: less then 12 min or even 10, or 5, bah


rawr, harass owns orcs.

Not true, it took me 10 - 15 minutes to build that army when I fast teched and made units to protect myself from ne harassing. You are just not a fan of the Orc Race

erm, that's not an even match, u're using mellee range and siege against only melee, and balanced armies will most of the times pwn mass shit. try using your combo against some faeries, dotts and dryads added in the NE army...
