Name this stupid insect.

Ok well, i have a big insect problem in my room. Thank God it is not migrating out of my room. I've been googling these fags for like 2 hours straights and came up with no results. Can you guys help me??

Description
its a the size of this period ---> .
it had 6 red hairy legs
it has a reddish head
it has a dark body(cant really tell the color since its soo small)
2 antennas
when i squish it, barely any guts are spilled. It barely stains as well. Its like brownish red blood, but its not alot.

When I use the Swifter Sweeper and clean the floor on my room, about a half an hour later, they multiply and i get like around 40-50 stuck onto the cloth each sweep. I find that they are also on my window sill and a few on my walls. Ive been using this ant roach bug spray, and it kills them, but they just keep coming back for more. HELP!!

But like, i noticed that their legs are the same length of their antennas and they are like really small, almost hairlike.

sounts like chiggers :S careful, those things suck.

if i were you id get a bottle of peroxide/rubbing alcohol, fill a spraybottle up with it, and have at your entire room, making sure to drench the carpet

followed by a very GOOD housecleaning [im talking hardcore to get the smell of alcohol out of there lol]

note: dont light a match while doing it

Definately would have to lean towards chiggers as well. What you are describing sounds like them, if they get any on you and they get into your skin, get yourself a thing of clear nail polish, and cover the areas of your skin they get into it, this should take care of them. As for your room, I would definately listen to Dragnskull, and have at them.

the only thing i cant figure out is how you got chiggers in your room...they are normally in the woods :S

ok, i just experimented and put one of these extremely small bug on my arm, and it just crawled without bite for about 2 minutes. Guys, i dont mean like 5 or 6 of these, im talking about like 60 on the floor and 120 on the window sill..

and the size of it is like ->> .

Actually getting a very closer look

The body is sorta oval shaped
The legs and shorter then the antennas.

Because Im tired of 200 bloody bugs at the bottom of my foot every time when i exit out of my room?

Guys the "6" legs and the antennas, in better words is "threadlike" or "hairlike" and is red

Sounds like a type of mite, just get some spray and have at them. Or call Orkin and have them deal with the situation. You can always call them anyways, they have a help line that is free that can identify the bug for you. If they can't do it over the phone, than they will send someone out free of charge to have a look to help you decide your best course of action.

It's a type of Mite, these can be annoying and carry diseases, I would call an exterminator if you are infested with them, as they can be dangerous to deal with.

You should have just called the exterminator in the first place. They would take care of the problem a lot quicker than you can. For all you know there are a lot more around your house. They sound super annoying. I'm glad I don't have them.
