What To Do Against Mass Hunts

I'm tired of those guys who mass hunts in the beginning while i creep with my archers.Can you advise me something useful

get a few hunts to tank for your archers , but if hes massing hunts, get archers and balista. While u have hunts in front, pund him with archers and balistas from the back. The hunts should fall easily.

no problem. Balista are tier 1, and hunts fall easy to siege. every time i paly in a NE mirror balista saves me. If i can get hipporiders they help alot against hunt massers.
You might also want to pick a hero carefully, cause they can change the game alot. DH is good, and so is warden. KOTG is also good to entangle archers, but seeing how this is about hunts..

Also, POTM i have tried first and works really well, because all your units get a boost in damage, hunts archers and balistas. It sounds like a stupid hero first, but all your units gain extra daamge so in a nequal battle, your units will win cause they have the edge.

the funny thing is u cant jsut mass as ud. you think an army of ghouls gargs statues is massing. that is three units u get.

All i hear is how they mass fiends, it is actualy pathetic. fiends are so weak. They are possibly the easiest countered unit. ghouls are weak to hunts, and gargs are destroyed by AOE effects. learn to adapt

haha, yeah adapt to using the ud race, not fighting it

really Pan even the Pros use other races when they find imbalances, and cheese with them. Even Aether use to use the NE beastmaster cheese, and what race does he play now? UD.

I can adapt fine Pan. I dont argue a bit that its not impossible to beat, but just like the beastmaster if you cant beat em, joing em.

that is stupid logic, because the beastmaster pretty much almsot ruined the game comletely. you couldn't beat it. Especialy as undead or orc.

Undead is beatable, you jsut said that. So what pros use otehr races? I have seen many switch races for no reason at all, its not an uncommon thing. Doesn't mean it is imbalanced.

Uhm you should start hunt tech too archer is very risky to get aginst all races unless you got a panda or KOTG because they can stop the units. or slow them down enough so you can micro them. Other wise hunts = GG archers hardcore.

Gouls = GG archers hardcore
Grunts = GG archers hardcore (Dogs = GG archers hardcore)

I thought hunts armour was weak against piercing attack? If you have a few hunts then archers should do some damage, unless hunts have piercing attack? Or is archer damage/life too low even with the bonuses? Bah! I know seige works because destroyers will beat them, so try ballistas

Yeah archers take extra from hunts too tho... When you have what a 242 life archer with low armor taking 150% damage from a hunt. The hunt deals regular damage the exact same amount as the archer but it attacks faster and has a bounce. Arhcers are going to get slaughtered and considering a hunt can run 3 times as fast as an archer good luck microing it. The hunt would be easy to micro.

or fast tech to Bears, since I know the other dude will make glaives to rape your hunts, with bears and dyrads > hunts + glaives
