I have lived in Minnesota ((where else..?)) since I was born. So I dont mean to sound like I am chewing out the USA or any of my fellow residents.
--
Anyways, America's economy is soo horrible right now. EVERY industry and business is laying off THOUSANDS of workers and getting EVERYTHING made in Japan just to save a few bucks. This is tearing down our economy. Prices are now going sky high, these can be seen in insurance prices, gas prices, and everyday neccessity prices, on things like foods, clothing, and drinks.
Real estate has also gone up a lot, houses that were $70,000 in 1999 are selling in the high $100,000's now and the low $200,000's.
My personal opinion is that we are probley going to have another depression. "We have had it too good for too long" families now days spend and earn money like there is no tomorow, people get in debt all the time, etc.
Eventually this will come to haunt us... bad.

9/11?
I am just saying I think we will have a depression because people spend too much money on too many things, get in debt to quick, and our government is $60,000,000,000 in debt.. its not like they can just print more money and get out of it. And what about everything in Japan? The poorest people there get paid to make things that we COULD make but are too lazy to do it.

Um two things, just about every first world nation has a debt.... and secondly if the gouvernement were to mass produce money, the value of a dollar would drop. I beleive(don't quote me on this) that hitler tried to do that in germany, basicalyl what happened was people took home wheel barrows of money, and then would need a paper bag fullt go shopping. So basically everyone made insane amounts of money, but prices rose to compete. Meaning nothing is acocmplished.

True, also, Americans are NOT lazy, we are advancing in technology faster then you can start thinking, in which using machines to make cars are becoming more popular. Where in hell did you the 60 trillion? Wrongful opinions are not appriciated here.

The word you were looking for their would be ressecion not depression... As far as the economy is concerned it is fine compared to the rest of the world. we have a 6% unemployment which I believe is low compared to the rest of the world. And prices raise due to inflation throughout the world not just the U.S...

and yeah guy you were right about Hitler.

score being right kicks ass....

and one example of how inflation can happen,

say the us stopped importing cars from japan, that would cause japan's economy to plummet somewhat, which would cause other countries who export producst to japan(say canada lost a bit of its wheat market) then canada whould have prices inflate to compensate, and it would continue in a big circle of "****" untill it reached back to where it started. yay!

Everything is getting made in Japan to make it "cheaper" for us ha, I aint gonna support companies who lay off workers by the 1000's when they are too lazy to do it themselves.
Its pathedic.. people in America have muscle... quit being lazy, god.

No one is going to tell me that laying off MILLIONS of people every week is going to help our economy, and if you think it is-- you are an idiot.

America used to make mostly everything, I know people who stopped bying clothes (e.g. Levi's) because they laid off soo many people, now they just make their own clothes... HEY, at least its not made in Japan. Why have Japanese people make it for us? Along with Honk Kong, China, etc... half the time things fall apart in a matter of days, and the people dont even know English, yet the probley print the instructions anyhow.

I think we are going to pieces, and people are just plain spoiled, my nighbors have about 4 fourwheelers, 3 snowmobiles, 2 boats.. I think the likelyhood of a depression is pretty good, and when/if it happens, I am going to laugh in their face.

But those gay terrorists dont help either.. and thats probley another reason why we are crumbling upon our foundation.

It seems to me, that the word "bying" is not a word, trying to sound smart with false, uncited info is the worse kind of argument you can provide. Next time, try using correct spelling and grammar.

Are you sure you mean Japan... and not China? Oh yeah and the german wheel barrow thing. That wasn't with hitler that was after the first world war. France came in and took over their money making plants and started putting out money and made Germany's inflation skyrocket. Then came hitler and changed that. Oh yeah and you want to blame some one for national debt blame FDR and you can blame him for income tax and turning us into a socialist democratic society where Federal Government rules the local areas and big buisness is bad. Which it isn't big buisness improves export which improves economy and provides jobs for people.... Yep FDR ruined not only us but China. He gave it to Mao and left Chang in the dust... And he also completely colaborated with the communists. Well that's all I have to say right now.... Until next time.

i jusvt have this to say we are in so much debt which will hurt us we have not been in this m,uch debt since wwII.
and if bush stays in ofice we are just gonna keep sinkin ,
why you ask that i say that the answer is simple, you cannot fight a war against someone who will not meet you head on on the battlefield we learned that in vietnam and all this money bush is spendin on so called war on terror will come back to bite us in the ass,you canot stop terriorizm because you are all ways gonna piss someone off who justy dont give a **** and unlike they think it dosent cost a lot of money liek bush would liek to lead you to belive guns and explosives are cheap for them because they more than likley deal with ex russian communist which have acess to loads of stuff for cheap.and to try and fight these people in there own country is ****in stupid and if they were really winning the war liwek bush said attacks would not be happing right now all the people bein killed by bombers would stop.
it just goes to show that there is no way to win an urban gurilla war its impossable.

I second that, SonicBoom. If we dont get Bush out of office soon, or another republican.. we will be worse off. I think 2005 will be a democratic year though, I hope so.

We have been in debt for many years. WW2 made the deficit worse. Our country has always had debt and always will (because of bonds...). The national debt isn't too big of a deal, we have seen worse.
