not really, avg damage is about 2k

did u make him 4 pvp or pvm?

If pvm, smite is not a very good pvm skill.

Also what weapon do u use and if u dont already have, then u should get a up'd hoz.

its not about the the extra def on it, its about the better smite damage.

Gilded Shield=20-28 smite damage
Zakarum Shield=46-46 smite damage

So up'd hoz doesn't sux sooo much, k!

since exile is so damn friggin hillarious, is there a reason why ep'd hoz is better than exile? cuz i'll tell you why exile is better:
-better smite
-buttload more defence
-res OR damage for a zealer
-huge life tap
-freezes target
-worth alot more

only thing i can think of for upped hoz is maybe you can socket it and it has +all pally skills (only good for fanta) :bouncy :bouncy :bouncy

Both shields have their strong points. HoZ has its +2skills and resists(Exile CAN, but doesn't always) and +stats. Not everyone can afford Exile, so upped HoZ is a fine alternative.

Resists? lol... Even a +40 resist shield has less than a hoz. The only thing that really matters is better defense and life tap. First of all lifetap is BM, so you if you plan on dueling respectably, this one is out straight up. So for the most part the only thing you are using it for is the defense now. Freezes target? So? Cham or Raven Frost=pointless. Also - why would an UPSIDE be that its worth more? Thats the only reason why people who havent tested the outcomes think its better anyways. If there is a shield thats better and cheaper why would you buy an eth +40 exile with a high lvl defiance?

Also, the +pally skills would be gg for smite too my friend... Not to mention the +2 combat on top of it. Not to mention, the socket.

Personally... the only thing i see exile for is for good looks, more defense, and newbie lifetap. First of all you can just get dracs... Second looks dont count... Third - if you use the shield for defense, theres a problem.

That whole BM thing with life tap... Let me ask you, have you EVER joined a public dueling game that required no BM??? Life tap can be a life saver and nobody cares if u use it in a pub game.

Talking about switching out items with other items cuz they give the same effect is :loopy ... What are you goinna cham??? if u cham something chances are you wont have max ISA. Raven Frost..? wouldn't you rather get a +skill bulkathos with 45 life? i know i sure would.

If something is worth more, you can sell it for more. Plus making it is only 2.5 high runes so it helps poor people get rich.

gg for smite???? smite is Itself, Holy shield, & Fanta, Exile gives +2 combat and +2 fanta wont add much damage. Plus once again exile gives ALOT more damage so that covers the +2pally skills.

same thing as with raven! If you use dracs, your missing out on another 40 life, ISA, and great FHR with bloodfists.
