hello guys/gals,
hehe as u can see this thread is about my barb setup i have put together from many...and i mean MANY inputs on GG barb gear and stats and everything
this is wut i have for my barb...here is the setup i have for him so far
Setup #1(for melee and main setup)
Helm: ber ber COA
Armour: GG Archon Fortitude
Weap: EBOTDz,DOOMz,BEASTz
Weap 2: 2 Hotos( for WC weaps)
Rings: Angelics
Ammy: Angelics
Belt: Verdungos
Boots: Wraith Brands(yes theyre permed)
Gloves: Steelrends
Inventory:
1x anni
1x barb Torch
37x 3/20/20`s(yes they are permed)
Setup #2(Mainly For Casters):
Helm: ber ber COA
Armour: Mage Enigma or dusk enigma
Weap: DOOMz,BEASTz,KINGSLAYERz
Weap 2: 2 Hotos( for WC weaps)
Rings: 1 Angelics ring and 1 Storm Loop(yes permed)
Ammy: Angelics
Belt: Spider
Boots: Wraith Brands(yes theyre permed)
Gloves: Trangs
Stat Distribution for both setups:
Strength: None
Dexterity: None (OMG what am i thinking!!!!!!!!...)
Vitality: ALL POINTS
Energy: none(obviously)
so that is him in a nutshell
ur proly gonna read this and go
"wtf...that kid isnt gonna hit S*** all!" or
"wtf....trangs?...spider???...STORM LOOP!!!!!...ur AR is gonna be hella low and ur damage reduction is vital!!!!!...wuts wrong with you!!!"
if not those...soemthing along those lines lol
but i rlly think this will work...since ive calculated(only for rlly rlly GG barbs) the average dexterity of those guys is 76.3(was from about 15-17 rlly GG barbs and they were nice enough to give theyre input and help me out), and their average AR was 21.4k
out of the 15 barbs, 3 used Gore Riders for the CB,DS,and OP...the others used eth treks,imps, and 1 had wraith brands(for the str bonus and vit bonus(only on treks))and the 3 with the gores had rlly high str...and no not from theyre gear...from them putting points into str becasue they didnt have enough str bonus form their gear. the barbs with the imps, wraiths and eth treks all basically aggreed on "they alrdy get the OP,DS, and CB from the weaps they use..which is enough"...the gore rider-wearing barbs differed tho...they said the more % u have to use CB,OP, and DS the better.....ok thats true...it is..but i chose wraith brands anyways becasue of the FHR, FRW,+19 to str, and GG resists
hehehe...suprisingly...only 1 barb was using 3/20/20`s the rest were loaded to the nuts with 100,175,290,or 383pdscs...but the barb that did use the 3/20/20`s only had 2 of them LOL
....the rest of his inventory was 290`s....however....8 of the barbs excuses for not having the 3/20/20`s instead of 290`s or w/e was they couldnt afford an inventorys worth of permed, let alone unpermed 3/20/20`s...they chose psn becuase pdscs are cheaper in price..my question to them was" if u were rlly rlly rich and could afford 37 permed 3/20/20`s or unpmered 3/20/20`s...would u use them insteada psn?"
not suprisingly the response outta the 8 of them was along the lines of " hell yeah" or "yeah,definately" or " of course, having hella AR and hella life and a little to max damage is LOADS better then psn damage becuase most GG ppl you`ll duel have 75%PSN res or more"...heh u suprised? cause im not...cause that last quote there...is exactly the way im thinking
i choose 3/20/20`s over 383`s or those hella GG 500+pdscs because i can afford them and i have them...so getitn pdscs is pointless now.
also, i have 37 of them...so thats 37x20ar=740 to AR, then 37x20life=740 to life, and that huge boost in life would be awesome and that huge boost in AR to...i mean 740???? thats almsot like angelics(around lvl 63)...that blew me away ...i didnt think much of 3/20/20`s..overpriced...overrated...but man...wut a difference it would make on thsi setup for my barb
i mean the last barb i made(heh screwed up on the stats...) with BO he had 6.1khp...that was with lvl 36 BO...and 39 100pdscs in my inventory...so im expecting alot more HP form this new barb, and my last barb i only put 48 points into dex, and with angelics, and at lvl 86, he had 21.2k AR w/o enchant
As for gloves and the rest of the gear...i think its pretty much self explainitory, but if its not ill try to explain it
so, feel free to add some insight on this, becasue no setup is perfect
my barb is currently lvl 26 and my friend is about to baal run me through normal
when i get to lvl 82-85, and try some pking to test him out, i shall post back here his status
