My opinion/theory...

Diablo 3

Hi Everone!

I go by the name Masochist and i think you will be hearing from me alot.

My theory on whether or not there will be a diablo 3 seeks many
question in both directions. lets say we agree that there will not
be any further versions of diablo released. WHY ? I mean the story has ended you have defeated the three prime evils. Maphisto,Baal and Diablo the worldstone is destroyed and all your
efforts as the hero that saved mankind seems in vain because of
the destruction of the worldstone. It makes you sad . Because you want more you want to be the ultimate hero no dout.
You think the third sequal will be because one or all survived,
maby but what about their soulstones = destroyed. END!!!

But if you still beyond reasonable dout think there will be a 3,
WHY? Like Tyrael said " i cant forsee what the outcome will be"
this could lead to that when evil is 'destroyed' is is not lost but
sent to another dimension core of hell or another universe. The fight might continue there where the same heros will rise or another group eg undead.

i can go on for hours but this is not nearly a persent of what i think but my first letter any i will continue do write what i think.

lets say decard cane became currupt after u kill diablo then for the third one he could revive the 3.make them a lttlee stronger and wam u have a trillogy for diablo.

THats all fine, but look at this!

u forget---

•the soulstone of baal was ot entirely destroyed--- they only had a fragment in which they imprisoned him the first time

•the dark lords corrupted plenty of people--- even angels--- to do their bidding. THere is still plenty of evil out there, who r still loyal to their deceased masters

•agian, there is plenty of evil. Maybe one will grow strong, and take on the likeness of one of the brothers

•Maybe the soulstones weren't entireley destroyed at the Hellforge--- perhaps someone switched stones, and the crushed ones were merely fakes, or a devout follower found a small shard, in which diablo still rests.

•Maybe there are multiple soulstones, and the three brothers have merely teleported to different stones to avoid capture

•one last thought--- remember, only two of the lesser evils were killed, and at that, neither of those destroyed was captured--- Andariel and Duriel could easily be ressurected!

ne ways, these r some of the many, many pssibilities.


a word for the worried:

*Diablo2 is such a succesful game, there will no doubt be a third, with a carefully hidden plot twist to bring in even more heroes and heroines to defeat an ever stengthening evil*

DIABLO 3 IDEA

OK WHY DOES BLIZZARD HAVE TO FOLLOW THE PLOT OF DIABLO2
WHEN THEY COULD EASILY MAKE A NEW PLOT LIKE HAVE THE 7 CHAR CLASS BECOME CORUPT AND TURN TO FIGHT FOR NOT THE 3 BROTHERS BUT WHOS THE DAD? AND NOW THE CHARS WORK FOR THE EVIL SIDE AND FIGHT A GAINST TYREAL... CAIN COULD BE AN ENEMY OR A CORRUPTED ALLY YOU CAN FIGHT OTHER CHARACTERS CLASSES LIKE AMAZON AND ALL THE ENEMIES COULD LVL AND HAVE SKILLS THAT THEY ACCESS AT WILL AND COULD POSSIBLY BE UNDEAFETABLE OR IMMORTAL. BESIDES I THINK WE ARE ALL TIRED OF BEATING THE SAME MINIONS WHY NOT TURN FOR THE BAD TO SPICE UP THE UNLIMITED GAME PLAY...

hey about diablo 3.. ive heard there's gonna be 3 new characters.. i think one is a wizard, one is a animorpher guy (who can change himself into animals) and i think the last one is a swordsman. anyways ill get back to u when i find out the truth.. i hope d3 is hella better than d1 and d2

I still think that diablo 3 should be a prequil. The Horadric wars. Back when they still existed and all. When Cain was still young and not the old wise guy he is now.

sorcerer/sorceress
druid
paladin/fighter
