My medical school personal statement

When applying to medical school you have to write up a brief personal essay about why you chose the path to become a doctor. I have just finished mine and it would mean a lot to me if any of you guys could review it and give me some pointers. It is only a little more than a page long and it's not too boring (I hope)...I dont want to post it up here, so Ill just PM it to the people that want to review it.

hah thats what i was thinking.. Looked through my sisters coursework every now and then while she was training at NHS medical. i pretty much read through the course books and a few of the asignments in pharmacutical mathematics and cardio, few other things, im not sure if the coursework curriculum is the same USA and UK but il try and help out or ask my sister if its any help to you.

well by now, alot of bf regulars may have already graduated from hs and are going to college. so i would think they have a good grasp of english. it's always helpful to have someone proofread (i'm being optimistic here...)

in your profile, you're only 17... you still have 2 more years of high school left. just go to a decent community college for 2 years and do extremely well. transfer to a good college and study whatever you want to. there you get your bachelors. then get into a graduate program, get your masters. do whatever you want from there... when you're young, you still got options. it's older peeps, that gotta worry about things like this. all you got to do at that age, is study and work hard.

btw, are you applying to med school this year? or after you graduate? cuz I thought u need 4 years of undergrad experience in order to apply to med schools.. (at least thats how it is in canada, but its diff for every schools ofc)
