Im sure theres a few floating around but ill make one anyways, feel free to add onto it, ive made one before and it was good but got lacked down because of the gear
STATS:
Str:120-140 or so should cover everything
Dex:Enough for max block with holy shield
Vit: Rest
Energy: If you put any in this I will rape your family and dump them on I-5.
SKILLS:
Max Concentration, Hammer, Vigor, Holy Shield, and with the skill quests and the ones left after these are maxed, put them into salvation
another option
Max concentration, hammer, vigor, holy shield, 5 into smite, and finish this off by using the skill quests for redemption, this skill is very useful, after you get done killing your enemys, have redemption on switch and get the mana/life from the corpses, switch back, then continue on, alot more useful than guzzling down pots
this is the one i would use, you will have to sacrifice your skill quests for this though
ITEMS:
Ill put two different items in each, one for the 1337 botter who has everything (My attempts are proving over 50% success rate in useast ladder, wootah, better than 0%) and the other for the budget manual mfer.
Helm: Peasant crown or Lore/Shako
Armor: A good vipermagi/Enigma
Shield:A nice rare +skills rare shield/Herald of Zakarum is a must eventually
Weapon: Wizardspike is a great choice, stick with this until you can afford a heart of the oak/make one
Boots: Waterwalks are probably the best choice here
Gloves: Magefists are a good choice
Switch: A CTA if you can get it, but otherwise just use switch for either redemption or vigor
rings: Ravenfrosts or good rare fcr and mana ring/Stone of Jordan is very useful if you can get them
amulet: Maras is without a doubt the best choice, its not easy to attain though, so use a + to pally skills, with good mods, fcr is a nice plus until you can get a maras
Hammerdins are a great overall class, you can build it for both pvm and pvp and do great in both, since like 2% of the monsters in d2 are immune to magic, and it does very high damage, and if you do everything right and have the right gear you can be a good tank
add on if you wish, my first guide so go easy
