My first go at a vector

ok well i made this picture usining pretty much only the polygon lasso took and the paint bucket... this is the first time ive ever made one and i think it turned out pretty well... i modded it off of a sarah michelle gellar pic... ill post that aswell... well how did i do?

i actually dident use good tutorials way of doing it... that was a COMPLETLY different way from how i did it... i just saw that tut there and it gave me the idea... the tut on there was using brushes and crap

You don't have to justify that an image needs work. No one asked for it. Just take criticism and make it better. That is all. I'm done with this thread.

I have a hard time believing you did anything more than use the polygon selection tool, while leaving anti-aliasing off (which is why I'm assuming that's what you did)...

Do you know what a vector image actually is?

You need to learn something: If everyone says your image is shit, it probably is, take it in stride and learn from it. Use it to become better.

bc he freaked out on me when i dident even say anything bad at all... all i said is

i know its hard bc online in text you cant hear a person so you dont know what they are talkin like when they say somthing but i was NEVER mad bc of what he said... and NOWHERE did i ever say that i did not accept hes advice... he did nothing wrong and i WASENT mad or angry from what he said... in fact i was happy bc he dident flame me... he actually GAVE ME ADVICE... but im not going to go back and change that one... but ill use his advice nextime i decide to make one... and it would be stupid of me to just stop making graphics bc people dont think im good... bc i cant get better unless i keep trying... now are you still going to freak out on me or did i explain myself in a way where we might actually have an understanding...


im not like trying to make enemy's or anyhthing... ALL i was ever looking for was ways to inprove... bc i WANT to get better at graphics... i want to be good and maby someday to be able to get paid for this stuff but i KNOW i need to improve and thast what im looking for.
