My CD cant read...

I put the D2 cd in and the screen pops up. I press play diablo2. Then it says please insert your play disc. my play disc is in duh!!! Well my D2 cd has always worked but now it dont I reinstall D2 and it reads for like 1 day and the next day it wont read it??? My cd rom is fine all my other CD's read..

Ok dont listen to any thing people say on this forum the best thing to do is visit blizzard technical support
I had this problem myself its a fairly common problem so blizzard has a page on what to do......

Ive searched blizzard and i cant find a fix for my problem

look at the bottom of your cd, that could VERY easily be you're problem.

you sure, even a minute scratch can cause big problems. Check how clean the cd is. Check how clean the cd reader is.
If it applies, stop pirating software.
All kiinds of possibilities...

OMFG!! what kinda no0B trys to scam peoples Cd keys on the forums..get a life u loser..or a Cd key generator(that works)..and ya do what pat says and if that doesnt work call blizards 1-800 number and im sure they would replace the Cd free of charge..

Ok people, ive been through this whoel CD Not In Drive problem, i called Blizz about 6 times and i bought 4 copys of the game, it didnt work, so i was reading on some webpage about how certain CD or Media ripping devices cause it to not read (stupid blizz's security) So i made sure my CD Burner was uninstalled, and i havent had any problems since!
