Only follow that guide if you have the exact same items...

however...

even tho djnat makes godly guides..

I disagree with base vit, and you dont need that much dex... and you do know this is only for pvp right?

My pvp zon has to be made only if you have the right gear (= plenty of small charms with 18~20 life and resists or max / ar). With those charms, even with base vit, you can go up to about 1.8k life or a little more.

If you're pvm, some points into vitality can be spent, even if I never put a single point into vita when I build a bowazon (In hell, when you have 1k+ life and 75% lit res, if you're careful it's really impossible to die).

However, with the new godly runewords, pvm zons are very expensive characters, but they kick ass. In the next days I'll post the definite bowazon build for pvm (ladder only), for the very rich players.

Guided arrow is an horrendous skill for PvM (except for bosses, where is kinda helpful).

If you're going to use WF, this has to be your skill distribution:

Max Strafe
Max Magic arrow (I've found it very effective against phys immunes, better than Freezin' arrow)
Max Penetrate
At least 17 into Valk, +skills included, or just max it
At least 16 into Crit strike, +skills included
1 Pierce (or more when you have skill points left @ higher levels)
Some more into Multiple shot if you need more arrows

~

Your gear has to be intended to catch the last attack speed breakpoint with strafe (120% ias if using Windforce).

So:

- Wf has 20% ias (40% if shaeled)
- Laying of hands (set gloves) have 20% ias
- Highlord or Cats eye have 20% ias

You need some more ias, at least 40%, to catch the last bp. You can use:

- Andariel's visage with an ed / ias jewel + Nosferatu's coil unique belt (= 45% ias)
- A 3x ed / ias jewel magic elite helm with life (= 45% ias) + Razortail (= good pierce, and more damage)

It's up to you. The best armor for your zon, if you're non ladder, is a Chains of Honor Dusk shroud. But if you aren't that rich, you can use a "Lionheart" Dusk shroud (Hel + Lum + Fal) or a "Duress" Dusk (Shael + Um + Thul).

Now, in ladder, the best armor for a bowazon is a "Fortitude" Dusk shroud.

Better to use Atma's Scarab amulet, any bow that can cast Amplify Damage on striking or anything else that can cast it or Decripify with charges.

Use the points you save for 2 in each of the dodge skills, getting Pierce to about 7-8 and boosting the Decoy (i got 5 points in it, and Valkyrie maxed...she rarely ever dies).

affordable pvp gear?

Amulet = Cats Eye (very underrated)
Rings = 20 dex Ravenfrost (ar doesn't matter with guided)
Boots = Treks (better if eth but kind pricey...) or even Waterwalks
Armor = This is a bit tougher... my two first choices would be fort or coh but obviously they are kind of expensive. Upgrading Twitchthroe is a decent/cheap solution: 500 defense plus 10 dex/str plus 20 ias are pretty decent stats. Other solutions: Shaftstop, Atma's Wail.
Helmet = Kira's is good/cheap for resists and fhr. Shako always works for health/mana/dr though the +2 skills aren't THAT helpful. Other solution: Andariel's (very good!), Gaze
Gloves/Belt = Please please PLEASE do not use nosferatu and dracs, for the love of god! So many newbies make this mistake... An excellent (and often overlooked) cheap solution is to use death's (yeah, the set) gloves/sash. Horrible defense, I know, but very good stats. Huge poisen resist, 30 ias, and 15 resist all!

Anyways... hope that helped on SOME level... let the criticism begin!
