No, but murdering your wife for what in civilized world is considered nothing based on your religious views makes a religion horrible. Cutting people's heads off as part of your culture (your culture being heavily based on your religion) is horrible. Castrating corpses as part of your culture, is horrible. Harvesting people's organs is horrible. Flying planes into skyscrapers is horrible, capturing an elementary school, killing a man that was trying to calm down the kids and then taking up 12 year old girls to the second floor, raping them, killing them and dumping their bodies out of the window into the crowd there their parents are is horrible. On the off-time from killing infidels cutting off heads of your own people because someone's grandfather couldn't divide a sheep with your grandfather is horrible. Making 80% of the world's cocaine is horrible.

I can go on and on and on. You people are just a bit ignorant, you never met those people face to face, to you they are only what the TV or the internet tells you. Imagine this, there are people out there those brains work completely different from yours, the life you know, the values you hold have completely no worth to them. Now I'm sure you're gonna all start telling me about how you know everything because you live in or near a ghetto, but thats just not the same.

If you insult them they will smile and then stab you in the back (literally) then you turn around. If you're weaker than them they'll do whatever they want to you, if you're stronger than them they'll get on their knees and start begging you to not do to them what they do to those who are weaker.

All that said I have met two of them in my life who were decent human beings, but big picture wise those were just exceptions to a rule.

The reason why we are not like them is because we live in civilized societies. The Bible tells you to stone a homosexual, I don't think you can find even the most hardcore Christian today that would start throwing stones at a person and if you find that person, well, there are laws in place that guarantee protection from physical harm for every citizen of any civilized nation. Now Muslims have that bit in their book about killing infidels, cause their societies are primitive and backwards they go through with it. They don't have separation of Church and State, their laws and culture are based on their religion and thus we get this mess. The more neutral to religion a society is the more advanced it is, because seriously, to think that 2000 years ago someone came up with a set of values that are still relevant today, thats just silly. In modern times the evolution of respective cultures of civilized nations has made religions in those nations shed off their violent aspects. Now religion is still intertwined with culture but its a different kind of relationship, culture dictates religion, not the other way around and culture is something that morphs and evolves far more easily.

the western society is quite horrible too. you exploit and ravage foreign lands, so much so that by the time you are done there is nothign left for the natives. then you pretend that nothing is wrong and look down on them for being poor. youve been the most ruthless ppl on earth. creating the most lucrative slave trade ever on earth, murdering and exterminating black natives of many countries and always expanding at the cost of the natives, into the native country and exploiting it.

I've met Muslims, in Russia whole south western part of the country (Caucasus) is Muslim. The problem here is, is that murder is a part of their culture, never said that "The West" never did anything wrong, but those societies evolved, the Islamic ones haven't. Thats why far less people get their heads cut off in civilized countries.

Stoning? You're talking about the Old Testament. It doesnt have any hold over Christianity. Also, in the New Testament, there probably isnt a single verse that can be traced back to the Christ that condone any sort of violence.

There is a reason why a favorite past time for all the good Christians a couple of hundred years back (or a 100 in some places) was to drown a Jew in a well. What about then the good Christians did all that slaughtering in the New World and established slavery as an industry in Africa? All were good Christians, the only thing that separates modern Christians from them is a more evolved civilization that we all enjoy.
