Music Search part 2.. please help.. :/

OK here goes. I must create a new thread since this is different, just forget the old one and post as if it had never existed.
I'm searching for specific music now, bands would be better than single songs. I'm basically searching for bands that specialize on this type of music that I'll try to explain. Alternative Rock btw.

Here's songs for reference :

Let me find attributes:

- melodic
- guitar based
- interesting above average
- good singer
- not happy
- partly melancholic
- emotional
- intense
- not simple or easily-structured
- not much coming from non-instruments
- changing and not repetetive
- NOT ballads, not gay


That's how I see most of these songs
(not all at all times of the songs of course.)
If stuff such as violins or something to give it more variation is included that's just perfect. (some of these songs have this.)

Basically the more it is away from the average rock-song (like Linkin Park and Punk Rock) the better. By average I mean random melody and then there's guitars and a drummer and that's it.

If you could help me with anything that would be great, like listen to some of those songs and see if you can associate a certain band with it or something.
BTW listen does not neccassarily imply that you go to an actual shop and buy the CD

What I don't want is Metal, Hard Rock, Nu Metal, Punk, aggressive music or too much bassed-up e-guitars. Prefer distorted. :rollie

Classics and some good rocks ones. I think out of all of them You would like Tantric the best.
