I know this is in the sticky and says undetectable... buut, I noticed alot of things say undetectable on there that ARE even though the poster said they would update it as soon as it changed >.<.

So, I wanted to know if I make two Diablo 2 directories with 2 diff CHAR and SOUND .mpq's (since they are ones that hold cdkey), then I replace the D2gfx.dll (since that is what says you can only run 1 copy of D2 at a time) with the edited one. Will I be able to use multiple D2 copies w/o being detected? I didn't know if Blizz figured that one out yet.

Thanks a bunches ahead of time, and I did PM Ace about the sticky, but I never got a reply - so I dunno.

(sry for grammer, and punctuation)

[glow="MediumTurquoise]Using d2loader only is detectable if you don't have a disc to begin with. What I am aware of is that Blizzard checks the files in your d2 folder(or something of that sort), and makes sure you have w/e files, not sure there. But if you use d2loader to use a second d2, or more, it should be fine, after all you dont have 2 + cd drives XD[/glow]

I'd have to agree with what Hamtaro says, for lack of any evidence to prove otherwise. But a generally better idea would be to run them on seperate computers, or one on a laptop. Almost everyone has a laptop today anyways, just plug it into your LAN, and go.

I wouldn't bother trying to contact Ace. He seems to be inactive.

What I know. Blizzard can't scan what files you have on hard drive.
You can get banned for running 2 diablos on same pc if they find out one way or another you will get banned.
i don't think blizzard would ban you if you do not have cd in...
