just a tiny little thing called sound quality, lwek.
I own two PDAs and two MP3 players (well, sold my old mp3 player and bought a new one), and I can tell you from experience that MP3 players are MUCH better for listening to music (with my PDAs there's always this barely audible background hiss...gets real annoying after a while)...and PDAs don't have much memory when you first buy em' (so you'll have to invest in SD/MMC/compact flash cards)...all in all, I've spent some $600 or so on my PDA and its only got 512megs of space...you can get an mp3 player for MUCH less than that...
oh, and internet on a PDA doesnt really work (ive setup my PDA so I can surf the net through my main rig via bluetooth anywhere in my house)...load times are crap for none-pda optimized sites...(battleforums takes like a minute to load, and you can only see like a fraction of the screen at any one time)...though being able to use MSN on my pda is quite useful around my house...
plus...nowadays most high-end mp3 players sport radio and recorder-functionality...
just get an mp3 player, minny...and if you're going to buy a PDA, you might as well pitch in a bit more and get one of those new sony upc things...
Both mp3 and pda are pretty new technology too. So both of them don't have the most perfect sound quality. But have extrememly good(which may be good enought to suit you)
I like mp3 players because most of them are smaller than pda. But I don't like mp3 player becaus their isn't a "perfect" one.
The one main feature I would want that is portable is a Digital Camera. So I want a PDA. May not take great pictures, but good enought to distinguish objects. I want a camera basically for um my "relationship".
It's not like I need 15+ gb of storage. I don't even know enough songs to carry 2gb. And besides if I do know a lot of songs. I can always delete the songs that are boring now. Songs do get boring after listening to them 24/7.
I know a person who had a PDA. From the looks of it, it looked pretty cheap, but when he maxed out the volume, everyone in the bus could hear the music. Got in trouble
I want
this.
But as it says:
As expensive as an entry-level laptop; no included Mac support; so-so battery life.
But I'm checking these new iPaqs.:butterfly
