To put things into perspective for you, the Borg in this game are the end-all unit of the game. Basically if you don't have a fleet of about 30 warships to fight it, you're done. I've got 12 K'vort class command ships, and 8 B'rel ships.

... and MOST games you don't encounter them until turn 180 or higher...

I had to buy my most recent copy on EBay as it's not sold in stores anymore. One of the greatest strategy games for the computer as not many are turn-based anymore.

Considering how long ago it was made, beautiful graphics too.

Sadly it's unable to play over the internet with others. Buggy scripting on their side. You can host games on a LAN without a problem though, which is what me and a group of my friends do over at his house when I bring my laptop.

5-player Birth of the Federation is gawdly.
