Ok...
I have seen tons of people on these forums talk about how occy rings and iths are NOT going to be deleted no matter what(l33t_0n3 for example)... This is not necessarily true. Anyone remember the bugged sojs with negative stats? Those didn't get deleted because of their item ID, b/c you could have more than 1 on 1 char. They got deleted b/c blizz DETECTED the STATS. All blizzard has to do is add a little somethin like the dupe scan... when someone joins a game, if they have a "stone of jordan" and it has the stat "50% MF", delete it. Not that hard. As for Iths, the CLIENT calls the the weapon "Ith" b/c it doesnt know what else to call it. When/IF blizz comes out with the next patch, they make the CLIENT look for Iths, when it does, delete it.
