This is my first try at posting. :hxc
This is a fanfiction, so it is my story based on a game which just happens to be Diablo 2.
Disclaimer: I do not own Diablo 2 blizzard does, if i did own it then there would be evil fluffy pink rabid bunnies that you'd have to kill. But there aren't and i don't own it. if i did say i owned it, i'd get shot :shoot or blown up :tnt
Moon Clan
I think about what my clan said.
"The humans have killed us, slaughtered us like spike fiends! We shall now slaughter them, it is justice!"
I knew this was not so, the only reason the humans attacked my clan and all the rest was to protect themselves, from us. It was the leader of my clan who lead the attack on the two who entered the Stony Fields. It was my clan who killed them, the rogue and the amazon, walked in, they were looking for the Tree of Inifuss, i know it; but all my clan leader could think of was,
"They are tresspassers, dispose of them."
I hung back, oh and i was beaten for not supporting my clan. I still have patches of skin on my rump, where Bardiche scars have not allowed my fur to grow back.
Everything, no, that means too much, because I do understand one thing...
I must leave my clan.
I will travel, through the Stony Fields, through the Cold Plains, through the Blood Moore, to the rogue encampment.
There i will meet my fate. I will either be killed, or be captured.
But i have a secret.
I know a little of the human language, just enough.
Small words like: friend, me, you, escape, Moon Clan, renegade, they, bad, betray, them, kill, amazon, rogue, help. There are a few more, i hope they will understand.
Tonight, is my night, there is no moon and i will flee.
I rise when i hear the heavy breaths of slumber, the darkness is enveloping my form. I run, my cloven hooves make no sound on the grass, and the speed in which i run, i leave no impression, i am the night and the night is me.
I see the gate to the Cold Plains, i cross, some Dark Hunters see me, and i start with fright. But they do not care, they are out for human blood. I race past them, leaving them to their evil thoughts.
And to think i was brought up to think the same way.
I run. On and on. Past deserted houses, Gargantuan Beasts and Fallen, then I see it, the pass to the BLood Moore, i thought it would never come.
I groan as i hear the twang of a bowstring and the zing of and arrow through the air, there was a rogue guarding the pass.
The arrow entered my shoulder, and the pain flared down my left arm. If I'd had my Bardiche with me, i would have dropped it, but i left it so i'd be unarmed.
The rogue walks over to me and stands at my side, I wimper.
"What is one of the Goatmen doing out here?" She wispers to herself.
I groan at the pain in my shoulder, I try to speak. "Help, me betray Moon Clan, they kill rogue and amazon, i help you, please, help." I close my eyes, waiting for the final strike.
Suddenly my side grows warm, and the pain in my arm disappears, i hear a voice, it is strong and light.
"Clam now young Flavie. This is a Goat woman, and she seeks your alliegence."
Flavie, the rogue, gasps, "Tyrael."
Tyrael, the Archangel. Now what was that word, alliegence?
Flavie looks down at me, i can see her confusion.
She reaches out a hand, "If she harms the rogues, then i will kill her."
"So be it."
I take her hand and she pulls me to my feet, she is strong for such a slight female.
The light disappears, Tyrael is gone, but i can still feel him.
Flavie points at herself, "My name is Flavie."
I point at her and say, "You Flaffie."
She sighs, "It'll do." She points at me, "What is your name?"
I blink as the words register, then i nod and point at myself.
"Illuriah." I try to immitate a human smile. It must have looked funny, because Flavie laughed.
"Go to the camp, say that Flavie was cammanded by Tyrael, to send you and that you are a friend." She nodded, "Now repeat what i said."
"Tyrael told Flaffie to send me to tell you that i am your friend."
Flavie raised an eyebrow. "That's good."
I trotted at a slower pace, a little more at ease. But the stangest thing was, suddenly the Spike Fiends were throwing their spines at me and the zombies chased me.
I guess that good leaves its mark, but that made me glad, maybe then the rogues would see that i am good.
I reach the bridge. The water flowin under it is peaceful and bubbling, it makes me feel refreshed just listening to it.
I walk across the bridge and toward my destiny.
