Monster Hunter [Freedom Unite and Tri]

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the international version of the Japanese title Monster Hunter Portable 2ndG, is coming out soon, with a lot more new quests and many new items (along with new monsters). I'm incredibly excited, maybe it'll help me touch my PSP more when it comes out. Hahaha.

Is anyone else going to play the game?

Edit: In more Monster Hunter news, it has just been confirmed that Monster Hunter 3 (or MH Tri) for Nintendo Wii will be released on 1 August 2009.

Yes, I agree that it will be a while before the English version of MH3 will come out on the Wii, but it will be worth the wait. Another reason to celebrate!

Looks great. Never really played a lot of PSP games, to be honest. Just not enough good stuff coming around. Fighting games, rpg's and platformers work fine. Those shooters on the other hand...

Good to see a new game in the, erm, right category again. It was about time.

Did you see those screens for the wii already? Possibly the best screens I have ever seen for a wii game.

Yes, I've read that MH3 (or Monster Hunter Tri) is coming out this summer. I'm just as excited about playing underwater in the gameplay on the Wii. I could just imagine myself breaking a couple of things on the way. Haha.

Of course there is! There are monsters and environments which are exclusively for the Wii, since Capcom has decided to switch to the Wii from PlayStation for the bigger console they'll obviously need something to wow us rather than simply transferring skills with bigger inventory and learning how to shake the Wiimote.

I've updated the news. Release date for MH3 is announced!

Btw, the Wii that's sitting at my actual parental home (not where I am now, I'm away on studies) doesn't even belong to me. I bought it for my sweetheart last year's Valentine's Day but insisted I keep it because the TV at my place is better. LOL.

And please someone rephrase the title to: Monster Hunter (Freedom Unite and Tri)

It sucks not to have global powers anymore when it comes to the small stuff. Hahaha.

I more or less lost my interest in special editions of things a while ago. Once multiple versions of consoles started to appear, my interest faded away completely. Only limited dvd sets can make me happy now. I wonder if Sony realizes that people started buying the cheapest PS3, and then put in a 360 gb drive by themself. xD
