Monkey Island...coming this summer!

For those of you who loved the Monkey Island series with Guybrush Thriftweed...uh...THREEPWOOD's swashbuckling adventures, be excited because it is announced that not one, but two projects are coming out:
Tales of Monkey Island - A new five part series, the very one we've been waiting for! Guess they kept their promise when they keep cracking those "unbreakable five game contract" jokes. Each episode will be released monthly on PC and WiiWare, starting July 7.
Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition - You heard me right, they have revamped the very game that started it all and re-releasing it this summer! Complete with new voice overs with the original MI cast (Dominic Armato), enhanced graphics, beautiful animation...the remake of this classic is definitely a must play, especially for those who grew up with the game. Will be released this summer on PC and XBox Live Arcade.

Yup. They're going to release both versions at around the same time. Same people who helped with the Sam and Max stuff as well as Strongbad's Game for Attractive People.
