Unless point accumulation has been disabled for normal users. I still get points.

It's probably due to Zaros and Alasdair, who abused this tactic and generated obscene amounts of views in their threads to get money.

cortalos has control of the system. And i do believe that it has been turned off for now.

Actually currently money is only given to people that make posts/threads in the gaming forums. The general forums temporarily has this disabled with the exception of the Role Player's Realm.
