Module making help

Hello, I know you have to have Visual Basic to make modules, but would Visual Studio work the same? If so are Visual Studio.net and Visual Basic.net the same and people just leave out the .net or what? I'm confused

there is a differance but visual studio will work just fine.

You'll need Visual Studio to make modules, Visual Basic is another lanuage
