Mmm...Vicodin.

Well, I just got two completely healthy teeth pulled. The reason? To make room in my mouth for the braces I'll be getting.

They're the two upper teeth right behind my canines, or at least they were.

Right now, I'm about halfway through the gauze they sent home with me, and I've got a dose of Vicoprofen (Vicodin/Ibuprofen cocktail) in me...I'm tired, loopy, and happily not in pain...

Anyways, who else has had tooth stuff done? This was my first dental work ever aside from the occasional cleaning...so what are all o' your DENTAL EXPEREINCES???

nnnngh, I feel like garbage.

It's also not tremendously easy to eat pudding with the corners of your mouth and your lower lip still numb.

Before I got my second set in my teeth were MESSED THE **** UP! Sharks teeth, seriously, I had extra teeth. Weird teeth, and all that. You'd think I was Irish.

And now my teeth (after braces) are perfect. Except one went a tiny bit side ways. And that's the worst! Its only a tiny bit side ways so it drives me nuts. I should have wore my retainer at least alittle longer after the braces were removed. Or demanded a top perm wire.

Anyways, you need oxycotton. That's where its at.

i had this guy steal some of the numbing liquid they use at a dentist appt one time and he brought it back to school and put it over some gum and gave it to everyone....

Lol, I'm not one of THEM people, lol. And I'm not "going on" about it, lol...just thought I'd give this thread something to make people notice. And frankly, my brain wasn't working at my best...

But yeah...I just slept like a baby for about 5 hours was it? I don't remember when I zonked out...I was typing on my laptop on my recliner, and at some point my head just dropped back a few inches and I was out...

I tell you what, being exposed to something new was a relief. Even though it's half-ibuprofen (which I'm damn near immune to), the Vicodin part of it was actually something my system wasn't used to. Even so it took almost half an hour to kick in...

But yeah, just took another half a dose...and my mind is still fuzzy from the fact that I literally just got up about 10 minutes again...

If I get to rambling in my posts over the next couple days...ignore it...I start typing and I just can't bring it to stop...

Yeah, I was iffy about Vicodin, but it's not even pure. Anyways, right now I feel great and that's all I care about.

did it hurt? ive never had serious dental work [well, since i hit like 7 lol] and im in dire need to go in soon...i cant eat candy right now, it hurts too much.

I was so doped up on Nitrus, 2 hours flew like it was 10. Oh, I also got 2 fillings on my bottom rows at the same time.

Really, I didn't even realize it when he was working on the left one. I was aware of what he was doing when he did the right one, but I felt nothing except for the moving of my head, and I could see his hand moving. He had to really fight to get em out too, they were well-lodged in there. He said it was actually a fairly difficult extraction, but it went very smoothly.

The guy was just awesome, he's really good at his job. He kept up a constant stream of discussion with his assistant, and that was good to focus on. Got a bit of deja vu through it, too...it was kinda surreal.

The actual dental work was really easy, almost nothing. It was the next few hours that sucked. The gauze I had to put in my sockets to keep the bleeding down was a pain in the ass...my jaw got really sore from biting down on it, and made my mouth very dry.

However, all told, it was really no big deal at all.

But no, no pain really except for the little pricks of the Novocaine needle. That was a little discomforting, but no big deal. It mostly felt like pressure, there was no real pain.

I find it awesome how Vadriel describes his misery in pain. Next, he will tell me his braces have sockets and he used runes to make Steel. Oh noes, now his teeth get ED%+.

I for one don't need braces. The last dental surgery I had was removing 4 Wisdom Teeth, which was fun cause then I had to go to a wrestling event with a quarter frozen mouth.

Oh, this just in. Apparently, the doctors lied to me because when I looked at the bottle of the pills I was taking apparently it's actually hydrocodone that they're giving me and apparently I say apparently too much...sono vicodin like i thought i was getting, justhydrocodone...
