Minny's Frozenbowadin(PVP)

INTRODUCTION

This guide is for the richer people on battle net. It is a pally using widowmaker bow (give +to guided arrows) and using Holy Freeze as main Aura. It is strickly PVP only.


Equipment

Wep Widowmaker(ward bow, ladder only) this bow gives +skills to guided arrows. the + level doesnt matter. (40/15 or shale)

2nd Wep Death Clever Zerker axe

2nd Sheild Zak

Armor Stone Archon Plate

Helm Nightwings perfect (with cold facet)

Boots Goreriders (preferably upgraded)

Gloves cleclaws pincers (slows enemy 25% knockback)
(alturnitive if you think clewclaw is too cheap :rolleyes dracules has 25% open wounds and good life leech)

Belt aracnid mesh

Rings x2 sojs

ammulet highlords wrath

Charms + to life charms and 290s

Stats

Strength Enough to wear items
Dexterity Since you wont be wearing a sheild 146
Vitality Rest of the points
Engergy NONE!


Skill points

20=Holy Freeze
20=Resist Cold
20=Salvation
20=Zeal
Remaining Points=Sacrafice
1=to all prequests


Stratagy in pvp

You will be only using zeal in pvm and in cases some duels.

Keep holy freeze on and fire guided arrows at the enemy. If you land one shot on them its assured victory. The hardest to take out are bonermancers and Dragon flighting Assassins. For them just keep running and let holy freeze do the job and finish off with zeal. (holy freeze does not get affected to cannot be frozen)

Haven't seen any bowadin guides in quite a while, gj (most of them use some dmg aura anyways).

How much damage do you do? (how much bow and how much holy freeze?). Because with the PvP damage reduction, I dont think freeze would kill the necros/assasins off on its own like you imply it would. (It's 1/8, right?)

PvP reduction on ALL kinds of damage is .17

Example: you make 1000 cold damage, your opponent has 75 resist cold.

Your real cold damage in pvp will be (1000-750)*0.17=42 damage.

Minny has a point Some cheap things do own, for example a dwarf star for a firesorc, thats cheap, a ravenfrost for cold sorcs, thats cheap.

i like it, maybe ill test it out on non-ladder =/

Bah, Ravens and cold sorcs still don't do shit because of their pierce. Dwarfs on the other hand.

But Guided + Cleglaws? That = cheap. Go back to .09 you cheap bastard!

lol, there is no 09 tho, unless you play single player...or goto a private server, but then its not fun to pvp

1. Cleglaws don't work in dueling. They took away slow in 1.10 dueling, remember?

2. Have you tested this with a high success rate?

1. Oh i didnt realize maybe the aura made it look like the opponent was slowed knock back is still good though

2. my friend got on the bowadin and i got on my best dueler my wind druid (equiped with ss 75 cold resist and 55% cold absorb) and he was able to beat me in 4-6 shots with cyclone sheild and heart of oak on also it beat my ww asn, ww barb, zeal pally, hammer pally, and FB sorc.

Ok, your pally can NOT be that good. He can't block, so any character with Enigma > you. I fail to see how you killed a damn WW sin. You must've sucked hardcore with them.

Heh. The way I see It Is runewords chanmged all the runes, if your Barbarian can change into a Werebear with Beast Zerker, then I can use slow. ^^
