Min. level to kill Diablo

I have a lvl 26 Paladin (just Zeal), is the level ok or should i'll gather more exp.?

no way you should get to at least 30 or 40 if u wanan do it by urself on my sorc i was doing diablo at 40 with a merc 1 lvl below me and he distracted him while i staticed/orbed if you need a rush or something i can do it for you im not sure if i can do diablo in nm but i can try but i kno i can getyou to diablo cause andy mephy and dury are easy as long as i have a meat puppet )

Assuming you want to solo it... your lvl 26 zealot can do it, here's what you might need...

- a decent weapon and good attack rating
- rejuv potions in belt, so you don't die suddenly
- high fire & light resist, so he can't 1 or 2 hit kill you
- town portals, so you can heal and buy more potions
- gold, to resurrect a2 merc (merc will suck, but he'll allow you at least 1 free zeal on D's back)
- focus and patience to keep healing and coming back at him

Getting to D will be harder than fighting him. You'll have to clear Chaos with the occasional iron maiden on your head. That might take the most patience.

If you simply want the Quest... join a pub game and it'll be much faster and easier.

Just get some life leech items, or lifetap, and you will be fine.

If this is a solo game and not on bnet, do Diablo whenever you feel comfortable.
If it's Bnet, make a game D4Quest or something along those lines, and the room will fill rather quickly for the quest.

Well.....if u have a holy freeze arura on......itll probly be alot easier becuase the Pit lords and the ghouls will be slower and take a little dmg

No... He's a Zealer, he'd be way better with Fanatism Aura.

Can I have an aura activated at the same time as i'm "zealing"?
If you know what I mean, or can I change between them quickly?

I'm an old newbie, been playing D1 and D2 for a long time,
but i'm just hacking and slashing...

Yes, change your left-click attack (at the bottom left), which is normal attack by default, to Zeal and your right-click to Fanatism Aura.

Mystatement was in reguards to the question of his aura and zeal ... which I read wrong. Not to him killing Diablo or not which I answered before this post you copied.

When I changed from Normal Attack to Zeal and activated an aura at the same time, the monsters in Sanctuary of Chaos didn't have a chance (almost )

Zeal Attack rating almost at 1000.

But when I faced Diablo, things got worse. I had to dodge the plasmathingy from him, otherwise I was toasted. But I'm almost there.

For a few years ago, when I had an Barbarian, I don't remember this was so tough!?

Trust me get yourself some lifetap on striking, or life steal (leech) you wont have to run from Diablo then. Everytime you damage you gain life from anything that is not undead. That is a zealers best friend.

Just use the power of glitching!!!!! u can get diablo stuck at the side of the screen then just shoot him or if u were a necromancer just send in ur creations to get him! thats what i did i was only lvl 22 lolercopter

How is he suppose to do that with a zeal pally that does melee .... read.

just charge out when he does that to dodge (shift + click)

and I have no idea why you'd want to solo diablo... unless this is single player.

Diablo killed, I just stood behind a corner and Diablo tried to toast me with fire and lightning/plasma, but no good...

Used Zeal and after a while he was killed..
