Microsoft wireless-g base station router

i have a microsoft wireless-g base station router, and i want to open up the port so i can host games, and i can get into the config, and i kind of guessed on what to do (considering there hasnt been any help specifically for microsoft routers..that ive seen)...and i spent a good couple of hours trying to get it to work...and i still cant host games...any suggestions??
