Microing

Whats you're way of microing. Like for example: Keeping you're units alive, Mass attack on the hero, mass attack one unit, etc.

I prefer to attack one unit while having my hero attack the other hero if he is ranged.

I have every unit attack one thing, and then when a unit starts to die, I pull the dying unit away, if I don't have a hero that can heal.

focus range on their weaker ones, and leave the melee to tank. constantly holding alt and healing the ones that need to be healed.

Take meele in front sned it in to engage opponents meele. Grab my ranged and focus on either meele, or if I can focus on casters with ranged. Take wounded units, and move them out of battle. and hit the alt once and awhile to see potential red units. If I feel I need to i can focus on ehro, but generaly I prefer to pick off units cause it means more exp.

Moving wounded units (on orange hit points) away, moving them to the base because other strong players dont miss to attack my injured.
-In the beginning Orc chases my injured when i move them to the mine.
-UD, with coil he gets what he wants a footmen killed.
-Another Hum, yeah very strong like lvl 25 and perfect micro - moving footies away so that I cant kill them. I used to move mine on red hps and thats how he could get experience- I nothing.
-I use these keys '[' ']' for their hit points.

Well if your Undead you really dont need to micro if u got level 6 dl. Just infernal, then carrion swarm, sleep hero, and let ure gargs and infernal do all the work.

I like to have priests with everything outcasted offf, so ill hit alt and then ctrl click my priests and have them heal all the wounded, i think that works pretty well.

alt works wonders in any situation, especialy to kno when that healing spell is required. only problem is it can be a pain to continue to hold it for periods of time

Yeah another problem with it is, if your playing a team game, and you hold alt and try and click on of your guys, it will make the exclamation mark, and that would annoy the partners, but gladly i only play solo.

and if you hit alt-tab can be annoying when ur game minimizes. but it is still useful to an extent. As for minimap pings, i ping all around the map in teams games just to annoy my partners

Yeah I accidentely ping the map a lot.

EDIT: Maybe I should post something about microing lol.

So I just try to keep the hurt units at the back then have them come back in from the sides where they can make a quick getaway if they get focused on again, usually I end up doing it the dumb way too and putting all of my units to attack one enemy unit, so a few start to attack and the rest scramble stupidly for position all the while getting hurt, I need to work on that.

Wait, with alt you can make the hit points bar appear all the time tright? With [ and ] you can do it by holding it and seeing who has low hps.

the alt bar displays all unit health bars for the period in which u hold the alt bar.

Man, i jsut realized how hard i have been making the game for myself, my mouse was complete shit ANd i had to mash the buttons to click. now i have a nice sexy smooth mouse, and microing has become so easy now that i have trianed wit ha shit mouse

But Pan, [ and ] are better or not worse. [ is for your hit points and ] is for others' hp. You can hold them both togther to show the hps of all units and it is easy to work with them.

Why go to the effort of having to hit both buttons, when u could hit alt?
