Mic prob in steam apps

for some reason my mic is breaking up in every steam game i play. iv tried different mics and two diff sound cards and my old port too my mboard and nothing can any one help :corn :corn :corn

Breaking up, as in... it's full of static? Does it sound like that if you use the microphone test in the options?

If you dont want that to happen and you really need to speek clear, you could really just go get vent, or teamspeak..

just type in voice_loopback 1 in console and mess with the voice_ commands I would tell you how to fix it exactly but dont feel like reasearching right now :-\ hehe
