MF Problem Here

Hey guys, here is the situation I am in, I have a cold sorc that has 628 Mf without my merc and 878 mf with merc. Here is my concern, I do Hell Meph Runs to get good items but I havent found anything good at all. I have done about 50 runs and nothing that is really good, The best I have found is a atma's will. I am wondering if I have too much mf or if it could be i have no luck in the world. If you guys have any suggestions or advice I would appreciate it if you would post here. Thanks

Maybe too much MF? I would personally tune it down to 300-400. Then focus on more beneficial gear thar could allow you to take Pindle or something of greater difficulty. That % of MF has found me many a great hell unique.

i'd agree, prolly too much mf. I've found that arround 260-360 mf works awesome for me, i've found, bk, hoz, shako, occy, gf, the list goes on and on. all from hell meph too

Ya, patience is the key, sometimes when ur mfing you find alot of good items in a row then you have a not so hot streak. I just found a snowclash, and a atlantean sword. I am on a roll.

folks there is no such thing as too much mf, except too little patience or too little damage or too weak a character... (due to mf gear of course)

Well if you look at it this way Individual (although you're probly right), more mf = less dmg output, less mf = faster runs, I think like 300~400 mf is enough for good mf runs.

Hey same as for me my mf is like 225 with my mf gear off and like 505 with it on and with the 505 i wasn't getting anything off hell andy cept for maybe a small set item and a bunch of gold and pots then sometimes when i would forget to put my mf stuff on i woul dfind a few GOOD things and i thought Damn im just getting lucky when i dont have my mf stuff on lol . But now that i know what the good mf range is i can go out and get some good runs in finally!! Thanx guys

here is what i suggest u do joe.

config the bot to run Pindle, Meph, Duriel and Andy.
with about 350 mf, go to work, school or whatever u do and leave ur bot running come back from your 12 hour day to find the goods :].

i use this with my blizz sorc and its doing very well so far.
just make sure u hav decent Resistance, dont neglect ur resistances just because you want higher MF.

i got 514 mf and i kill meph in 20 seconds. when i have like 30 mf i kill him in 15. id sacrifice 5 seconds for ~500mf.

my sorc's mf is 397, i do meph all the time but i never can kill, my merc has 60 mf, i help him kill, will itstill count as if it were my mf? I was only thinking that because when your merc kills someone in a duel it still says "_______" was slain by "______" Any ideas just pm me :sleepy

If your merc kill hims, it takes your merc's mf and your mf and combines them; but if you kill him it takes just your mf. And all that matter's is the final blow, so you can get him down to 2 hit points and then let your merc finish him off

Also, it should be said that all mf is is luck, and mf just increases that luck

if you cant have around 1k mf yourself stay with around 300-500 mf, i find that the best, when i first started my mf sorc i only had around 300-400 mf but i found 3 gheeds, one was perfet, a few facats and a coa, that was in hte one week i had her, then i remade her and had around 900-1k mf ad foudn a shitload more, wf's, eth titans, facats, ok sets(tals, ik, etc), and way too much more to list. and if you wonder how to get that much mf, 6 isted cs, 4 isted monarch, tals arm with ist, shako with ist, 40x 7% mfscs, perf travs, 2 perf nagels, perf chancies, goldwrap and a 3cold skills 50mf ammy.
