On tv there was a commercial about a dvd coming out abotu metallica or something, it might be going into theaters, ne one know ne thing about this??

It is a documentry by them. It is called "Some kind of monster". Supposed to be really good.

It should be out in the US and Europe in selected cinema's. It's apparently a documentary of themselves.

Theater at first, then DVD (As most movies move to).

From what I've heard, is that it's a documentary of how tough it was for them to release their newest (and crappiest, might I add) album and how they had inner termoil and a buncha bullshit like that.

It's disapointing how they could make such great music back in the day when they were hardcore on drugs. But now that they're all sober and drug-free, they put out music not nearly as good.

I personally Don't really give a crap... I have my essential Metallica CDs Kill'em all, Ride the Lightning , Master of Puppets, ... and justice for all, and S&M.

I want the Binge and Purge Live shit box set but that is like... 50+ bucks.

Binge & Purge goes alright. It's worth it, but be warned you need a DVD player that has been bought at least two years after DVD players first came out.

I personally wouldn't see it, but I like Metallica, and for some people it's worth their money.

God knows if they had amde a Nirvana movie I'd see it in a heartbeat....but thats' just me.

metallica were good, but i doubt i'd watch that movie
