.
no. Death is God of Death metal.

And all death albums should be up there on recomended deaht metal albums as well as "domination" and "altars of madness" by morbid angel. Nile is a premier death metal band too no? and cannibal corpses best album is tomb of the mutilated no contest. there are too many bands that arent up there when they should be.

Amon amarth is definitely a top tier melodeath band. so is archenemy.

did you get this from ultimateguitar forums by any chance?

I think you should divide this into A grade bands/ B grade bands and C grade bands. its easier to pick that way and you dont end up searching for hours on youtube for a good band to listen to.

Slayer is hardly Death Metal.
Make a Thrash Metal one. Put Slayer, Kreator and such on it.

I think it's funny that you said you didn't see a good band on the list, yet "Black Dahlia Murder" is on it.

i was skimming through it. my mistake.
i'll add some more bands i think are decent. that go under those categories. their needs to be a thrash category.

all shall perish
through the eyes of the dead
beneath the massacre
despised icon
the faceless
the red chord

I didn't want to make a deathcore section because the genre will probably be dead, or gone in like 5 years.

<3 the faceless though.
