Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

It's probably a bit early to make a thread about this game, considering it hasn't even been released in Japan yet.. oh well, **** it.

I recently downloaded the Tokyo Game Show trailer for this game at FileShack. You'll have to register to view it, but the confirmation Email won't take very long to arrive in your Email box. Here's the link:

After watching the trailer, I didn't know what to think. The game seems to have taken a strange turn, but I'm hoping the eccentricity will complement the game overall.

I'm a huge fan of the MGS series, and I was a bit dissapointed with the last game, since you had to play as that pussy Raiden, or whatever he was called. Thankfully, I think that Hideo Kojima (The creator of the series) might fix his last error and have the game mainly focus on Solid Snake (Or someone resembling him), judging from what I've read and what I've seen.

If you've read any of the articles, they're saying that they're not even sure if we're going to play as the Solid Snake we've played as in the past. I don't think anyone is really to sure what the game is about.

I think it's still gonna be good, I played the demo finally and i liked it even if it was a small part of the game, no more bullshit 3 foot vision for enemy's which makes the game more stealth like because unlike the other games were people took the easy way to look at the radar and avoid the dots with cones you accually have to hide and be stealthy. The game has been built on a new engine also and feels alot more open and free, unlike MGS2 with the small hallways of the tanker and the big shel. And with all the other added features like the stamina bar and stuff i think its gonna be very good.

Beats the hell out of the other new Metal Gear Solid for PSP coming out.

It's turn based, the **** is up with that.

I thought the game had some shitty camera angles, but besides thatthe demo i played was alright.

I wont buy, but my opinion is biased, I only play sports games.

when does it come out? in a few weeks i think...

to be honest i haven't heard much about it lately thanks to the likes of San Andreas and Halo 2 coming out and hitting it big. ALSO thanks to San Andreas I am broke so I doubt I'll be able to get it anytime soon....sigh. I want to play it though as it does sound alot different from the other ones...
