Messed up screen

I just installed diablo 2 and lod. I get view everything fine but as soon as i get into battle.net the screen starts to tweek out. Black bars go across my screen and its like it cant load fast enough. I cant see the text box unless i run around and than it comes in and out. Do u think it could be the install disk causing this? ive ran the video check and it works fine so i dont know whjat to do! help me please!

to what? it keeps doing it.... could it be my monitor? its really pretty old. should i change it and than restart the game?

get a new monitor or graphics card is the only other thing i can think of.

Ok. but i can play batlefield and other high quality games and it plays just fine. So it aint my graphics.... must be my moniter..... thanks man!

if it was ur monitor, you would have the same problem with every game. all a monitor does is display pixles.

try re-installing the game, if that doesnt work, somethin is up w/ ur vid card

Not true. The monitor has to support the resolution, refresh rate, and the video type.

I'd mess with your monitor settings to see if that helps. A different resolution might also work.

Thanks for the help guys! I fiugured out that it was my monitor. It couldnt display the game fast enmough i guess so just made lines n shit on my screen. So if u come across the problem again you'll know that u need a new monitor.

Thanks. But yeah, it ended up being my monitor. It is just an old one so if you have an old one and you are getting this problem just get a newer monitor. Thanks for the help guys! PM me with any qwuestions you may have.
