MessageAPP what the **** does this mean?

look i been using kazaa for a wile now when i turn on my comp this thing that says MessageAPP pops up. on it it says

so i deleted kazaa but saved the songs and it gone away for 2 days. then today it came back again. so should i delete the songs? and does this message mean people are goign to call me asking for monye unless i delete them. some one please tell me.

oh and i cant clouse Message App unless i use the task manager

kazaa is a illegal, i heard. they have hackers who get the videos for films that are just in theatres. i would get something like windows media player and save the songs u ant on there and then delete the songs on kazaa. kazaa will eventually start to make people pay for the songs (if they havent dont yet) last time i looked kazaa was still giving away songs for free, so to be safe, save them to a different media then delete the songs, maybe even kazaa all-together.anyway, i think thats what the kazza v.2.5.2 is for, more songs storage space,no ads, etc, to get the money.

i already deleted kazaa but saved songs to a folder on my desk top... so your saying i should save them to a media player.

do you think i could pm an atachment to myself then delete all my songs and redownload them later?

Edit: ok look i saved them to a media player and then deleted the folder. now the songs arnt in that playlist no more. and get this 10 minutes later my friend comes over wit a blank CD! any ways i can get my songs back now?

Right, you have no problem unless you live in America. The whole fuss is because the sales of singles and albums have gone down because of file sharing. Kazaa lite is illegal. Kazaa isn't illegal but downloading some songs will be because of copywrite laws. Even 12 year old in America are being sued. Even in Amerca I don't think there is a imminent threat and pming yourself a attachment won't really help. I don't think they can detect the songs on your hardrive but they'll be able to see if you are downloading a song and track you. I don't realy think you can get done for having songs on your hardrive that you downloaded before they started to crack down on downloaders.

Edit: Yeah they're people that get films and videos that are in the theatres ect and they will get the biggest punishment. How many times have you been sued for having pirate videos? Although it could be easier to track your activities on the net. They are aiming to stop this not punish people for taking advantage.

They can sue you. It won't be that harsh though, I was just saying that they would go the harshest on the source of their problem. You can keep kazaa but if you don't wanna get caught or sued then don't download anything that would have a copywrite.

I really don't care, musicians don't need that much money, I live comfortable and I don't have a fast car, a trust fund for college or a 1/4 of a million dollar house. I don't care about the little people either, if there not happy, go find another job.

korn, it doesn't work like that. Kazaa's at the bottom of the warez community. You've got groups that release warez/music/movies/whatever (see www.nforce.nl , they list most of the releases, you'll see what i mean). These groups release there stuff onto top-site 0-day ftp servers. From there, ppl take whats there and stick it on things like BT and irc, THEN it gets on kazaa and other p2p things.
