Merc Idea

I was thinking wouldnt it be great if mercs could be fully equiped instead of just helmet, armor, weap...I mean the whole thing, rings, ammy, weaps, armor, boots, gloves, blah blah blah and new classes of mercs too, and maybe even being able to choose theres skills and stuff like that then choosing how they act like to Defend Or Stand back or Combat..whatever just an idea

Would be nice. I honestly don't understand why they didn't make the merc's like that for LOD. :/

while your at it, why dont u just supply their undershirts and boxers, too?

mercs arnt supposed to be another char on your character. be satified with what u have... remember when u couldnt equip mercenaries? and they couldnt travel from act 2 act? no? well... niether do i

yeah your right i think you should be able to fully equip merc's in D3....and while im here i have another idea!! if you've played the game Darkstone you know that you can control two characters at the same time meaning that you have double the inventory space....maybe my idea is going too far out onto a limb but hey i can't help but suggest it

Yea i really get pissed off when my merc goes out and gets his ass wooped by a cow or something or when he is such a dumass that he sitts there while i get my ass whooped. So yea i think hellish has it pretty much down pat. Giving mercs inventory is a good idea if you ask me i mean how could having a little more inventory hurt. You can always use more inventory

The inventory idea is great. You could give them charms and stuff to make them more powerful and even a anni.....lol

Hmmm, if D3 is an MMORPG there is no need for Mercs..

Diablo as a MMORPG would be even better than WoW.

But then one of the beautiful things about Diablo is that is it is a point and click game. But dueling would be MUCH more intense and no more 1 hit kills. That would be great.

SKILLS IN DUELS!!! Who would allow such a thing?!

I didn't mean they have there own inventory....I meant equipment wise it would be cool... I don't mean to go overboard with the skills thing, it would sort of be a bad idea, like training another char...sorry to be a noob about this but whats an MMORPG?

Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game. It's where thousands of people are all in the game at once. Not just like a bunch of different games with only 8 people. It's one big game, with thousands of characters owned by players.

Well If in the 3rd diablo it was like that it would completely change the outlook, and we already have enough of those not that we couldn't use another one but dont make it D3
