What is the best merc for a PvP Bone necro and what should he be equiped with?

Act 2 merc.. not sure what kind tho. but i dont think merces are rlly all that good in pvp.... meh, but what do iknow

PvP?

Prayer mercenary is the best. Good life replenish for dueling purposes.

(Prayer merc = Combat merc hired in normal difficulty)

Gear (ladder):

"Insight" eth Cryptic axe
"Fortitude" eth Archon plate
Eth Gaze [Shael]

Gear (non ladder):

Eth reapers [ed / ias jew]
Upgraded Shaft [Um]
Eth Gaze [Shael]

It's better if you are over level 92-93, cuz your merc is stronger and has better stats / resists in hell.

all normal mercs are the same in hell, so u can get that prayer merc in hell and save alot of leveling. Italians know all lol

They are the same kind of merc, but they don't have the same stats.

A merc hired in normal difficulty have better resists, stats and skills than the same merc hired in hell.

actually there is a runeword that gives ur merc holy freeze.... so i would take teh defaince or somethng, the act 2 mercs are great!

Wow. That means that you could have like two Merc's in one, sort of. Might+Holy Freeze...amazons best friend.

Gear:
Gaze (eth, poison die Facet)
Stone (eth)
Insight (eth, for insane mana regen), or, BotD (Eth), or Reapers Toll (Eth)

OR:
Act 5 merc (if your rich)

Gear:
Dream
Fort
Botd, Doom (Gives Holy freeze aura), Grief (all phaseblades)

BUT.....
If ya wanna be a pain in the ass get a prayer merc, with insight, dream, and stone.
This will give you life, mana regen, and the merc will get insane defence, and resistences.

also try a defience act 2 merc with sanctuary(gives conviction aura), gaze (Umed), and Stone. Amazing defence and good offence.
