Merc Decision

What is the best merc to have for your character? I prefer to use the Act 2 defensive mercs because they can use defiance, holy freeze, and might i think.:shoot

for some reason i dont use mercs.

act 2 might mercs are good.
u have doom rune word

this is like high damaging merc with holy freeze.

mercs are useful in some pvp... and also esp in mfing.

it depends on the character class, actually...
offensive might aura a2 guard is good for zon or barb, for damage
holy frz guard or ice iron wolf or rogue (cold) is good for any melee character so it could freeze theyre asses
barbs are good for sorc since they wil hit him instead of u and u will be casting spells from afar
