Can Meph drop a stormshield and what can pindle drop that meph can't?

pindle drops wf, gf, scheafers, and some other good things that i cant remember, cuz i never bot pindle anymore.

Pindle can drop any item in the game besides of course other patch items. That is why it takes a while to get something good but usually it will be worth it.

Meph can also drop arkaine's, eagle ^^ and the basics like shaft, skullders, gaze

and maybe if your REALLY lucky, a bugged item^^
