Medic and Marines

So far Terran only have two infantry units, Marines and Reapers. Firebats have yet to make an appearance, and Ghosts are likely in it for Nukes Sake.

But right now, in terms of Terran's infantry, I'm wondering if the Medics will return. The thing that places Medics in doubt is the Marine Riot Shield. If the Marine receives additional health(assuming it is in the same position it was in SC), than a marine with like 20-40 more HP will be pretty powerful, making a Medic with a marine with a much improved health really powerful. Overpowered if you will.

So, thoughts? Speculation?

Nah. What good is a Medic if they can't heal?

yea.. like restoring status of 40~60hp unit that deals 5 or 6 dmg will be a lot valuable....

Medics along with stim will probably be removed. It'll be sad to see them go even if I was never a terran fan. Playing zvt form the zerg side made me hate medics, but they were still fun to play against.
