Media Server software....?

Ok, I'm looking to have the "media" on my laptop available to every computer on my network (and my playstation). I am having a tough time finding said software however. anyone got any ideas? (the WMP 11 "media sharing" option just doesnt work on this computer for some reason...)

Create a shared location or something and put the video in. Then if your network is configured properly then they can access that video in that location.*
