I've recently been informed that 'cortalos' in spanish means hang them.
I'm not spanish, mexican, nor am I able to read more than a word or two from anything of that area, however I'd like confirmation in that translation.
I got the name from my old Dungeon and Dragon days. Cortalos, my most powerful character I ever had, was a Drow I leveled from level 1. Eventually he became a Lich Drow, and not long afterward, the Archmage of Menzoberranzan. House DeVora, of which he was a son of, became so prominant, that they even managed to rival the power of House Benrae, however fell when Cortalos became a renegade Drow, and fled into the Underdark, where he survived, conquered, and prospered. His alignment slowly turned toward Neutral as his power increased, and I learned a True Dweomor or two. For the record, Tenser's Telling Blow is hands down, one of the best 10th level spells you could ever hope to learn.
That of course was based on 2nd edition, which was what we used to make and play that character. I haven't actually played him for years as he became too powerful for my DM to campaign for.
Anyway, long story short, is that a correct translation? I need a second opinion doc.
