I would advise that the moderators take this down, there have been 6 websites tied to the release of this Dupe Method that have been shut down. This method is not patched, it is missing steps that were kept out for the fact that it did work. Blizzard/Vivindi is taking a very strong stance against this exploit, anyone caught attempting it or even being in games that long will result in an immediate ban of their accounts, and or cdkeys tied to the use of this exploitation.

In legal matters, you cannot technically shut down a website for providing information, although you are right in the matter, I dont use bots and promote a hack/scam free environment on bnet Micheal (if that really is you). I would also like to add that shutting down a website because they provide hacks isnt really illegal is it? They arent selling or copying blizzard programs, they are making something from scratch but since it is made to effect the game, it is illegal, am I right?

Anyways, what is a blizzard mod doing on the forums? If that is a mod, I would like to ask a ton of questions....

Yes it is really I. Just because we have a job working for the company who makes the game doesn't mean we don't play it and or keep up to date with it? My identity was only released publicly after this method was released on another forum which has been shut down to a Legal issue with Blizzard/Vivindi. No i had nothing to do with it, and neither did this exploit. Although many sites did suffer a fate tied to the use of this, it was on there own accord. After this was released I notified alot of the websites that it was posted on and had it removed, the ones that didn't listen paid the price for it. This was also posted on this site before and I placed the same warning and it was adheaded too and the topic was locked, I am basically posting to clean up my mess, since I was the one who released this exploit.

Though I am in no position to say I am saddened by the act, releasing info like that isnt wise, but I know many more exploits and many more websites that will and should be banned. I wish to help out the company and make Diablo2 a better experience for all. I suggest you check your messages and deeply consider my proposal.

As for being aware, I am aware that blizzard employees are online and about finding out this info and I provide reports and such frequently. But I also think blizzard employees should not be so secretive about posting, it is starting to become a blessing in the sky to see them post... Anyways, thank you for clearing up what was going on.
