Mayb A New Idea About Warden

Well I Thought about this and if Im right WARDEN is client side (i mean a file in my HD in the d2 folder. Right now i cant check this out since im at school but tho ive been discussing this in my programmation class and well my teacher and I have came to the point that we COULD MAYB replace the WARDEN file wich i Dunno About now and put a new coding into it so it would check only the DLLs that are normally there and would do an exception about the other ones ... MH n Others but we arent really sure and I tho mayb some of u guys could tell me if its possible but ill look into it :sly

You wouldn't be able to replace the warden file because you would get disconnected from bnet when warden doesn't reply to its command. Blizzard most likely has added the warden module to the sign on crc checks which would make this impossible. Unless of course we figure a way of modifiying the packets d2 sends out to match the ones it currently does.

O Well ill talk about that with my programmation teach then ill get back to you guys cause i just started 2 weeks of programmaming (visual basic no comment...) but ill ask him if theres a way to modify those packets but first we'll need to find the right packets but then again mayb my teach will know .. after all he plays d2 as well and hes been complaining about warden too so ill keep u guys in touch if anythings happens
