Maul barb

I just got a cruel thunder maul (750 dmg!) and plan on making a maul barb (needs lots of str, req on the weapon is like....253.) Anyways, any suggestions for a build? I was thinking concentrate.

Also, how much dex will i need?

hmm... mebbe depends since ur using maul. If concentraion gives AR bonus... which i think they do, then dont put any. (i dun think maul has any dex requirement)

Make a Titan barb! Base Everything, inventory full of 100+ AR charms and stuff like that. Dude if you could do that, you'd be so cool- Almost as cool as my naked 09 warcry barb

i wouldnt do a titan unless u using a 5 range weapon.

like a War Pike.

I had that kind of maul with my wolf druid back in .09

It isnt the greatest maul, very slow. The dmg might make your D*ck hard but its way to slow... you can make a maul barb and use that until you get a better one.

I agree, the speed is gonna get you killed quickly.

Unless you can somehow speed that attack up, I see you having difficulty with it.

Maybe a werewolf druid, doesn't that char have increaed attack speed?

Well, by socketing it like that, you've ruled out whirlwind (altho, with one socket, there's really no use in using it for WW anyways). The best WW weapon would be Cruel of Quickness with 2 shaels.

I'd suggest concentrate as well. A titan would be cool, but getting your defense, DR, and resists up high enough would be hard to pull off.
