The entire system. the friends code is stupid, plain and simple. None of my friends have a wii, and those that do don't play online, and I can't find/chat/make new friends through my wii, removing the actual reason why i play online at all.

its what we get for a system meant to bring in first time gamers. I really dont mind the whole code system. a chat system really should have been made for friends only at least but again they worry about trash talk.

Yes.

Only last place gets the really good items, like bullet etc.

Decent place gets shells mostly and some thunder.

First place always gets either a green shell or banana peels.

Which is really, really retarded.

I hate being in first place on 150cc and getting massacred by everyone in the races item pickups all at once thus plunging me into 11th place.

basically for me: play for 30 minutes, throw controller in rage. You get a few good races and then it goes to ****. i think they failed on a few levels by putting item boxes too close to the end of a couple races, especially the smaller ones.

Mario Kart games have sucked since the SNES because they punish people for being good by being in first place.

It's a kickass game i think. I don't own it so i can't really get sick of it. The wheel-controller thingy is soooooo hard to use, it's a waste of plastic.
